A little trip to Sephora..

This past weekend a friend and I took a trip to our local Sephora, and a couple other places to do a little shopping and catch up. She’s my only other friend that is in love with Sephora like I am and we both had a list of things we wanted to get our hands on, so needless to say we were pretty excited to get together and do what we do best.

The main item I wanted to pick up from Sephora was the Urban Decay Naked palette. I’ve heard sooo many great reviews about it and knew it would be a great buy because most of the colors are everyday neutrals. Since purchasing the palette I’ve created so many pretty looks, and I’m really excited to do a review on it in the next couple days!

I also picked up Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara which was a recommendation from my mascara addicted friend. Now usually I go the drugstore route and don’t have any problems, but after trying Victoria Secret’s Beauty Rush mascara and Maybelline Great Lash mascara and not being too impressed with either ( and Maybelline mascaras I’ve tried in the past are some of my fav.) I decided to treat myself. Lights, Camera, Lashes claims to increase volume by 424% (I really wonder what that is based off of..) and condition lashes with its natural ingredients. I’ll get more into detail in my review of the mascara, but so far I really like it.

The last thing I grabbed on my was out was a couple nail polishes from Sephora by OPI and I’ll be putting up those swatches as well.

As for the rest of my shopping trip I picked up a couple of new items to add to my Fall wardrobe, too bad I have an incredibly busy week ahead and won’t be going anywhere but work. Boo. I also purchased Victoria Secret’s limited edition Dream Angels Heavenly Temptation body spray and  mmmm does it smells absolutely delicious! The scent is a mixture of  apple, jasmine petals and vanilla– fruity but heavy enough to be a good Fall fragrance. I really love their fragrances and buy quite a few of them since I love playing around with different scents. I also received a free sample of their new perfume coming out next month called Gorgeous  which is a blend of strawberry, jasmine, and sandalwood. Yet another fragrance I foresee myself buying.

Any who, I’ll be posting the reviews for the products I mentioned above shortly so stay tuned. :)
